well im 6ft3 280 pds and have been clocked by drivers going alongside me at doing around 38mph on my specialized fsr xc mountain bike down a level rd with no hills on either side so is that fast?

@hombrelubinero This is probably the dumbest thing anyone could have said. What’s the point in any sport according to you? It isn’t practical to drive your shit box 50000000cc 10×10 SVU when a 1.5L 4cyl will do just fine.

Have you seen an average joe driving formula one car, to pickup kids from school? It is same thing. These are race bikes, they are not for daily riding or recreational, they are build to break world record.

There’s alot of speed & I appreciate the broken barriers towards maximizing human power but what’s the point if it isn’t practical? You ride this in my city & you’ll get splattered like a rotten tomatoe. It has to be practical, within reach monetarily for the average joe and manageable in several escenarios, not just straight lines. Is there anything?
